Manufacture of Ruitz

In more than 50 years of history, more than 6 million automatic gearboxes and collections have come out of the chains of the Manufacture de Ruitz (North of France). Today, the site is one of the key links in the electric value chain: It performs the machining of collections of gears and shafts for automatic gearboxes equipping the Renault E-Tech hybrid range as well as the EV gearbox. Thanks to the joint venture Minth ElectriCity Technology, two lines assemble high-tech battery housings for Ampere electric vehicles. Ruitz is part of the ElectriCity Ampere Hub, a unique industrial cluster and operational centre of excellence alongside Douai and Maubeuge that draws its competitiveness from a complete ecosystem combining efficiency and high technology throughout the electric value chain.
