AMPERE: 1 YEAR OF ACHIEVEMENTS

Since its creation in November 2023, Ampere has made a number of achievements that are making a difference in key areas:

• Faster development: From the highly anticipated Twingo E-Tech Electric, on track to be developed in less than 2 years for a selling price below €20,000, to the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, produced at our ElectriCity Manufacture of Douai in France – we are making electric cars more accessible and efficient.
• Global tech platform: To further optimise our development processes, we are supported by our Advanced China Development Center, an entity set up to work closely with Chinese partners, learn from their ecosystem, and thus strengthen our competitiveness on the global market.
  In addition to Renault, we are providing our technological platform expertise to other brands, for the development of new electric vehicles: to Alpine with its A290 and A390, to Nissan with its Compact EV and even a forthcoming A-segment electric vehicle, as well as to Mitsubishi with its forthcoming electric C-SUV.
• Sustainable innovation & cost reduction: Our commitment to sustainability and affordability is at the forefront of our roadmap. To gradually lower the selling prices of electric vehicles, we plan to reduce costs by 40% by 2028, in particular through the integration of advanced technologies such as LFP chemistry and cell-to-pack solutions, which will cut the cost of batteries by around 20% from the start of 2026. We will introduce Europe’s first Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) in 2026—a true testament to our agility and vision.
• Net-zero mobility: With Renault Emblème, we are sketching out a vision of a low-carbon family vehicle ‘from cradle to grave’. This demo-car emits – over its entire life cycle – 90% less greenhouse gases (CO2e) than an equivalent vehicle produced today. Emblème illustrates our commitment to rigorous eco-design, using recycled materials and cutting-edge technologies to create a vehicle that is comfortable, efficient and environmentally friendly.
