A NEW AMPERE CENTER AT SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS

Sophia

Ampere has just opened the doors of its brand new Software Center at the heart of the Sophia Antipolis European technopolis, near Nice (South of France).

4,600m² focused on software innovation, with nearly 200 expert engineers specialized in software development linked to Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, connectivity… The Ampere center is particularly specialized in software development for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV).

Ampere Teams collaborate everyday with strategic tech partners like Google and Qualcomm but also startups, universities and research institutes.

The automotive industry is in the middle of its most decisive game yet, and I believe software is the winning strategy!

Visiting Ampere’s software center at Sophia Antipolis today felt like stepping into the locker room of a championship team: focused and determined to set new records! From the Software-Defined Vehicle to advancements in connectivity and Full-Life Management, the creativity and innovation I saw today left me so energized.

Let’s be clear: our ambition to deliver the first European SDV by 2026 isn’t just a Renault Group milestone, it’s a European statement. It’s a signal of our ability to compete globally in a rapidly transforming market. And we’ll make sure to do it by achieving excellence collectively: with our teams and our partners.

Today we’re witnessing a unique opportunity to shape the industry for decades to come. And at Renault Group, we stand as ready as ever!
